Summer time is here! Ice cream designs are always fun to paint.Colorful and easy, therefore great for "on the job".This time we'll take a  different approach and take kids' favorite character designs and turn them into cool ice cream designs!

Step 1

First we are painting cones with flat  3/4 brush and Paradise Prisma Rainbow cake-Furry or new Kraze FX Split Cake-Puppy .Making sure that the darker side on the outside.

Step 2

This Ice cream is going to be Spider Man so I'm painting the eyes with round brush No4 and Kraze FX -white.Next step is to paint his "head".You can use just red - I love to mix red and orange from Kraze FX - Jalepeno. If you grab little bit of black on your small flat brush from the cake then you have your outline done as well.

Step 3

Small TAP stencil-Fish scales is perfect for adding texture to our cones.I'm loading my favorite Tsukineko Jumbo Sponge Dauber and TAG-Beige facepaint to  paint scales,and then with Kraze FX - black and round brush No3 outline eyes and paint teardrops creating the spider web.When I have time I always ad some shading to design with Mehron starblend cakes(this time brown and white).I've used brown starblend on cones too,so that I don't have to outline them.

Step 4

Moving to our next Cool Ice cream design.With flat 3/4 brush and FUSION split cake - Nirvana paint a base for our kawaii unicorn Ice cream design.

Step 5

To finish up our unicorn Ice cream design we only have to paint his horn using the small flat brush and Kraze FX split cake-Shark grabbing only white and gray,his face,outlines and highlights are painted with Kraze FX black and white.And our second Cool Ice cream design is done.

Step 6

Our last Ice cream is going to be a cute dragon,so we are painting his head with Kraze FX 6 Split cake Palette-Lush,again darker color is on the outside.

 Step 7

I added scales with Dinosaur Pop stencil mini- you can use TAP stencil-organic scales and darker green from same Kraze FX-Lush cake.Since this is "on the job"design I painted simple dragon face with Kraze FX black,added some spikes and cute teeth and highlights with Kraze FX -white.
