Want to learn how to face paint hello kitty? You've come to the right place! Talented face paint artist Belén Canosa will show us a step-by-step tutorial on how to make a Hello Kitty face paint design.
Hello Kitty was originally created by a Japanese company named Sanrio. They created her without a mouth because they wanted to make her emotions ambiguous so that people could project their own feelings onto the cartoon.
Many people love Hello Kitty because she is enigmatic and kawaii, and she's one of most requested face painting characters.
This time I painted a cheek design since I think it's more suitable for people of all ages, so let's get started!
Hello Kitty Face Paint Design
Step 1
Load a Prima Barton #3 round brush with Superstar White and draw the shape of Hello Kitty's face leaving a small blank space for the now.
Step 2
Load a 3/4 Prima Barton Flat brush with Kraze FX Splitcake Unicorn and paint a line from the upper part of Kitty's head to the forehead with a soft waving movement and ending in a sharp point.
Step 3
Load a Prima Barton #3 round brush with Kraze Magenta and paint the bow. Then, load it again with Diamond FX Black and paint two tiny dots for the eyes.
Step 4
Load a Prima Barton #3 round brush with Fab Bright Yellow and a #1 round brush with Diamond FX Black for a soft outline of Kitty's bow and head.
Step 5

Step 6
Load a sponge with Graftobian light yellow and stencil some stars using Bam Stencil 1030.
