Half Face Zombie Makeup by Natalia Kirillova

Choosing an image for Halloween, many stop on the image of a zombie. The costume for this character is very simple to make, you can just tear and stain clothes, for a more terrible effect sprinkle with artificial blood.

However, the image will not be solid, if you do not make a suitable makeup zombies on Halloween. To create this image will not be enough just to whiten the face and draw bruises under the eyes. We'll have to do something more interesting. My drawing embodies the gradual transition from the image of a man to a zombie. Let's try to draw this tutorial together!

Step 1

The first step is to use gray paint for the face and round brush Loew-Cornell (#1) to cut the face in half and make a sketch of the spots. It seemed to me the lines look a little pale and I circled them for brightness in black. We do not need perfect lines, on the contrary, the natural effect will be obtained if the edges are uneven. Forehead allocated a place under the picture of the brain. For eye makeup, I also used gray shades of shadows, added Mehron Powder in the shade of Gray.

Step 2

Next, using TAG #10 Filbert Brush (5/8"), cover half of the face with a dense layer of gray. We leave the circled areas not painted over. For the area where the brain will be I use the TAG Red brand, it has a more crimson hue than Cameleon Red - Baseline Fire Red. That's exactly what we need! I mix red with gray for realism. With the help of Mehron Powder in the shade of Gray a little shade of gray to the cheekbone to bring depth to the picture.

Step 3

Then fill in red the remaining lacerations. Eyes emphasize a dark grey eye shadow and eyelash dye ink. Yes, zombies also want to be beautiful!

Then I thought about what to make up the lips, so as not to tighten and dry the skin after a few hours in makeup and found one solution. I was helped by a black shade from Mehron Bruise Makeup Wheel (505-B), it's soft consistency and looks like black lipstick on my lips. The far half of the lips highlighted with bright color.

Step 4

Paint over the seams in white, And then encircle them in black, use-using Chameleon-Baseline Strong Black, in my opinion, this is the brightest black of all brands, what I used.Black line divide the face into two halves. On his forehead and draw the brain. For the shade under the seams I also helped Bruise Makeup Wheel (505-B), thanks to the soft consistency it is perfectly shaded.

Step 5

It remains quite a bit, we Trace the wounds in black, for the depth at the top add black. The help for this comes Cameleon Matteo #2 Long Blending Brush (3/8"), this brush enables you to blend perfectly, but a lot of water don't add it, the brush must be dry. Each of the cerebral convolutions also add shadows.

Step 6

And at the last stage we will make our image more realistic, add highlights in white. I use the brand Global Standard White, which is also well shaded. In this image, white lenses are perfect for the photo, you can whiten the pupil in Photoshop, as I did.

Another advantage of the image is that it is suitable for both men and women. For a couple, you can make-up in the same style.
I hope you enjoyed this look!
