Cameleon face & body paints are made with high quality ingredients that are free of parabens, sulfates and beewax, making it safe to be used on sensitive skin. Cameleon Colors are made of EU & US FDA approved ingredients. Only baseline colors have been approved by FDA for cosmetic use. Neon colors have been approved by FDA for special effects use, not as a cosmetic.
Please Note: The US FDA recommends against using red, yellow, orange or purple face paint near the eyes and or using blue, green or purple face paint near the lips to avoid possible staining issues. In line with FpDA regulations, all Neon products are considered Special FX since the fluorescent pigments in these products have not been tested by the FDA. Many manufacturers have undertaken independent tests, finding their products to be safe on skin. That said, we recommend avoiding use of UV-reactive products around eyes and mouth.

Caring for brushes When you are finished face painting, rinse your face painting brushes well in warm to hot water until you don't see any face paint. Dry the face painting brushes with a clean paper towel, wiping from the brush handle to the brush head then reshape the brush head with your fingers. Let the Makeup Brushes dry completely before you pack them away. When using soap to clean your face painting brushes, use a baby shampoo or gentle soap that is safe on young eyes. When storing your face painting brushes in a kit, store the brushes with bristles up. |
Cameleon was started by Jasmin Walsh and Eugénie Bril, with the idea of providing safe and good quality line of face and body paints for artists. Cameleon works closely with artists who understand the needs of face painters and are able to incorporate those into the formulation of the products. Association with renowned artists such as, Matteo Arfanotti, Emma Cammack, Yvonne Zonnenberg, Madelyn Greco and Scott Fray, helps in formulating just the paints and products that artists love.
