Quality shouldn’t be sacrificed for speed and to achieve quality with speed, we have to learn the basics and discipline to achieve both fast and effective art on the job.
Class Agenda:
The Principles of Speed and Quality Face Painting
Kit Set-up:
We tend to have a kit jammed pack with everything a store sells that we don’t
necessarily need to bring at event’s that requires speed.
• Taking only the items that we reach for often will help us figure out where things are without looking through our stuff while painting would help speed-up things at
work.
• Using stencils is not a cheat, it’s a technique in application and also an art itself.
Body position:
The way you position yourself while painting will affect your speed and energy
throughout the day.
• Decide if you are a standing or a sitting artist.
• Stick to a setup that allows your body movement flow smoothly to avoid fatigue.
• Seat your client to a position that are in tune with your painting movements.
Design Choices:
Speed and quality designs are less intricate and mostly impactful in color and size.
• For themed events, bring 5 regular and 5 themed orientated designs.
