There are many mask versions inspired by the Wolverine, but if you’d like to take your superhero masks to a new level, adding some unusual texture with stencils is a great way to do it. This is a very basic mask shape, but the stencil details make it special.

Tutorial
Begin by painting yellow in the center of the face with your 1/2-inch flat brush.
On either side, use 1/2-inch flat and Paradise dark blue mixed with TAG royal blue to create the sides of the mask.
Load your sponge with orange and sponge over the top of the yellow with the Mini Dots BAM2035 stencil.
Load your sponge with a dryish combination of Paradise light blue and TAG pearl sky blue. Position the Prismatic BAM2008 stencil over the blue portions of the mask and sponge over the top of the stencil onto the dark blue portions of the mask.
Load your round rigger/liner brush (or a #2 round brush) and outline your design. You may choose a larger round brush to create the eyebrows, or you use the smaller brush and press down harder so that it widens the brush.
Use your #2 round brush and Diamond FX white to add some highlights here and there on the mask, and you’re finished.
