As I've mentioned before, my default setting for boy designs (if they don't choose superheroes, dinosaurs, or animals), is aliens, so this design made it's first appearance within the pages my sketchbook while I was doodling. If you don't keep a sketchbook for practicing and coming up with new ideas, I highly recommend you get one. Scratch paper works well, too, but it's harder to keep track of if your desk looks like mine. Either way, you never know what's going to come out of your pen or pencil, and you should be ready to catch those ideas before they get away.
