I wish this board was larger and more realistic, like the pregnancy belly boards are. You can practice on it like you would the face boards, but that defeats the purpose of practicing for arm designs when arms require more painting area.

I am so glad that I purchased this Blood red cake. It's a small one but the color is large and will last a long time. It looks like dried blood, very deep and realistic. It has the usual great DFX texture, coverage and flow and drying time. It will be excellent for my designs that require true red. I have the DFX regular red 30 g which is a bit too orange for me so mixing the two will give me a better red for larger areas. Happy I bought this!
I wanted to love this red cake, as I was in need of a real good solid red. I've used DFX before but not their red. I haven't purchased any paint in a few years as I am not painting as much as I used to, but have been face painting for 35 years, and also work in acrylics and watercolor. I like to make my own split cakes or buy single colors to replace worn out cakes. I have recently purchased some Fusion paint and really like it but the shop was out of their red cakes, so I went to DFX for the red I needed. Everything about the paint is excellent, the texture, the intensity of the paint, drying time is all great DFX. BUT, the color is not a true red, close, but more in the category of deep orange/red. I was hoping for a real true deep red and know I won't need to buy more paint now for quite a while and prefer to wait until I need enough to receive free shipping. Will the kids mind? Maybe not, but I know and see it and am disappointed but will have to make this do.
This will be great for adding shine to Halloween blood drips and splatters.
The colours are going to be great for Christmas.

These petal brushes are a necessary addition to my kit. I have large, medium and small petal brushes - for fast flowers and leaves. Double dipping technique gives the best results. These are holding their shape so far - must be cleaned well after every job to prevent splaying.
So glad I got this the day before. Venue would not allow glitter of any kind.. How will I make the designs pop? Ahh I was able to make my work glow with this paint. And, double loading with tag white, I could make the ghost roses.. cool!
I used this with body paint. I was hoping to use it on legs or arms. I got to use it on a shoulder and down the arm using metallic split cake.
I love the silly farm paint pal brushes. After trying other sets that I bought in variety of sizes, I think the pink tile brushes are far more superior. I even have them in more of a variety. After using the line brushes for over a year, I finally had to retire them and use some backup brushes which really do not hold up to the quality of paint pal. As artists can understand sometimes they have to wait for the time where they need to order many things at once because of the minimum requirement of shipping, etc in order just to order a couple of things that are a MUST and sometimes the line brushes for paint pal are out of stock for a while but that's because they're so good.
I finally was able to order several at once and backup ones. This time I ordered a variety of sizes of line brushes. I threw away my backup brushes and I'm so glad to finally have those paint pal lime brushes back in my case!
Nice orange-yellow (or yellow-orange?)! A bit like the color of school buses.
These are great brushes that wear well nice and springy! I wish you carried more variety though. Just ordered another size, too!
The paint is vibrant really pops like a tattoo , I also use it as a background for pikachu , Superman and for my Elsa crown .
I love a script liner for line work! My favorite type brush!
