This one stroke elf hat face paint design can be painted at very busy events, or you can build up the design into a beautiful mask.
Step 1:
Using a 5/8 inch brush and an orange/pink color split cake (darker color on the outside) paint a hat shape, leaving out spaces in between the lines for the next color. Before you start, add a soft background color with a sponge, if you decide to go for more elaborate design.
Step 2:
With a 5/8 inch brush fill in the gaps with a dark green/yellow color. Of course, you can choose any color you like to make this design, but this one is very festive!
Step 3:
Paint in Christmas baubles using a pink/white split cake and also add Christmas tree branches using a blue/green/white split cake .
Step 4:
Add fluffiness to the pompoms using a rake brush and white face paint. Add a dark outline with a thin brush.
Step 5:
Outline the entire shape with white to make the design stand out even more. Add swirls and some stencil work if you wish :)
