Tools:
High Density Hydra Foam Sponge (cut in half)
Medium #4 Round Brush
Bad Ass Mini Stencils – Reptile – BAM1004
Colors used in this picture:
Diamond FX Essential Black
Diamond FX Essential White
Wolfe Face Paints – Yellow
Wolfe Face Paints – Orange
Application:
1. Starting with a high density make up sponge half, and the orange face paint, load a corner of the sponge, and stipple all around the eyes, creating a mask shape, leaving the eyelids and such untouched.
2. Next, using the #4 round brush and the white face paint, add two big horns on the forehead, and four smaller teeth on the bottom.
3. Get your stencil ready, and load up a sponge half with yellow paint. Make sure you have plenty of paint and not too wet, so it can make it through the stencil. Line up the stencil the way you want the scales to go, then hold over the skin. Pounce the sponge over the stencil repeating until you get good coverage. Realign and apply to the forehead, nose and cheeks.
4. Finally, using your #4 brush, and the black face paint, outline the mask. Start with the inside, and outline around each eye, add lines going across the nose, and going out from the inner corner of the eyes. Outline the horns and teeth, and you now have a cool scary monster on your hands!
