Fairies - girls love them... all the time! Kiki is going to show us an easy fairy design.

We recently did a Flowers face paint design contest in our Instagram page and, we must say, we got a lot of FLOWERS! These flowers are not just normal flowers but flowers painted on one's face or body! They are all so gorgeous. 

But among the bunch, there's one flowers design that caught our judges' eyes... 

At our house, spring and summer mean baby chickies, so I couldn't resist a little cheek art design using one as inspiration.Like all babies,chicks spend most of their time eating, and sleeping, so the two little chicks in this design are tuckered out and deep in their naps. 

This lovely lace and flowers eye design is inspired by two of my favorite floral artists—Rosa Cline and Denise Cold. It's soft, lacy background is the perfect canvas for delicate, pink roses and should be popular with girls as well as moms who don't necessarily want a full mask for summer events.
SPRING IS HERE! Who doesn't love all the flowers, the greenery, the bees, the birds, the morning dew, and all that's lovely and bright during Spring? We all love those things - especially the flowers! 

What's not to admire in Karen Harvey-Huwen's amazing floral designs? Each colorful example of her work is a lovely combination of spontaneity and skill, so when the Swirly Girlies collaboration group I'm a member of chose a challenge with Karen's style as our inspiration, I had a wonderful time giving it a go. 

If you struggle with butterflies, I hope this design with elements inspired by several of my favorite artists, such as Annie Reynolds and Denise Cold, will be something you enjoy painting.

With weather like this, my brush automatically turns toward springy designs with flowers and pastels like this pale teal party mask with calla lilies.
 In the fall I enjoyed a class by Margi Kanter, so I thought I’d try a Sneakadoodle butterfly design which is reminiscent of her bold cartoon style.
