This peacock design is fast enough to paint on the job and it can be easily changed and adapted to other type of birds....
Let's get started!
Step 1
Load a filbert brush with blue and start painting a teardrop for the peacock's head, then curve the brush to one side to make a long, thin neck.
Then, with the same brush, paint the shape of the body finishing in a pointy end towards the hair line
Step 2
Load a sponge with white and stencil some feathers on the back of the bird. Then paint a small yellow flick with a round brush for the beak
Step 3
Take a liner brush loaded with a darker blue to softly outline the design and paint some swirls and teardrops as the base for the tail
Step 4
With a round brush we paint the typical white spot around the peacock's eye and add some blue petal shapes on the tail
Step 5
We add the final touches now: the centre of the bird's eye, the centre of the tail's feathers, and some dots, stars, adhesive pearls... And lipstick if we have time...
