The Triple Moon is a ancient symbol found in early European cultures. It stands for the moon phases, waning, waxing, full and new moon. It’s perfect for any Moon Goddess or Princess. This can easily be adapted as a mask on the middle of the forehead to make a lovely princess crown. It also makes a great arm tattoo for any moon royalty.
Tools:
Medium #4 Round Brush
Small Round #1 (1/16″) Brush
paper towels or cloth
water container
(optional) Fine Mist Spray bottle with water
(optional) Baby wipes
Colors used in this picture:
Black Face Paint
Silver Face Paint
Grey Face Paint
Application:
1. Starting with the round brush, and the metallic silver face paint, paint a circle where you want to start your design.
2. Continue to add on two crescent moon shapes to each side.
3. Outline in black.
4. Using the small round brush and the grey face paint, add swirls to the moons. You can be as detailed or simple as you would like. I base it off of how wiggly the person I’m painting is. Age is NOT a factor in this! I have many adults who cannot sit still just as much as kids. You’ll know about 20 second into them sitting in your chair.
This design will look great with the metallic sheer, however if you want more you can always add some glitter for some extra sparkle.
Easily add glitter by using a spray bottle with water, and spritzing the design lightly at least 12 inches away. Use a poof-able cosmetic grade glitter to add evenly all around. Use different colors to really create an effect.
