Easter Bunny Design by Marina

Easter is getting closer so let us paint a cute bunny design!

This bunny is cutest one ever and it's not hard to paint him - I promise!

Step 1

This is actually "hardest" part, and you have to admit it doesn't look difficult.

I'm forming a shape with large filbert brush and mix of Wolfe Metallic Silver and Global Standard Baby Blue. DFX White is for cheek and fluffy tale.

Step 2

For me, the easiest way to paint grass is using flat brush and Global Fun Stroke Split Cake like Amazon Green, or just any two-tone green - while just lightly pressing tip of the brush. You can achieve a perfect egg shape by squeezing the upper part of a round dauber. This time I've used TAG Tropical Split Cake. With Global Neon Nirvana and a Filbert Brush, paint a cute bow and add a bit of tint for the inside of the ear.

Step 3

The next step is painting his face and doing the line work. I love using Round Brush No.0 and DFX Black for all my line work. A little Global Magenta for that cute nose, and that's it. You could leave it like this and skip step 4. However, if you have bit more time then you can make this design even cuter!

Step 4

With blending brush I've softened the edges. Add some shading on the tail and bottom part of the eggs with Mehron StarBlend. For the background, use StarBlend in Pink, Blue, Yellow, and Green.
