#1. Easter Bunny Design by Marina

Bunny Face Paint Design

This bunny is cutest one ever and it's not hard to paint him - I promise!

Step 1

This is actually "hardest" part, and you have to admit it doesn't look difficult. I'm forming a shape with large filbert brush and mix of Wolfe Metallic Silver and Global Standard Baby Blue. DFX White is for cheek and fluffy tale.

Step 2

For me, the easiest way to paint grass is using flat brush and Global Fun Stroke Split Cake like Amazon Green, or just any two-tone green - while just lightly pressing tip of the brush. You can achieve a perfect egg shape by squeezing the upper part of a round dauber. This time I've used TAG Tropical Split Cake. With Global Neon Nirvana and a Filbert Brush, paint a cute bow and add a bit of tint for the inside of the ear.

Step 3

The next step is painting his face and doing the line work. I love using Round Brush No.0 and DFX Black for all my line work. A little Global Magenta for that cute nose, and that's it. You could leave it like this and skip step 4. However, if you have bit more time then you can make this design even cuter!

Step 4

With blending brush I've softened the edges. Add some shading on the tail and bottom part of the eggs with Mehron StarBlend. For the background, use StarBlend in Pink, Blue, Yellow, and Green.

#3. Cute Bunny Face Paint Tutorial

Bunny Face Paint Design

Get ready to paint the cutest and fastest bunny ever! I just love this design because it's so quick and easy to learn. Let's get started!

Step 1

Load your flat brush with Global white and paint your circle shape for the bunny body. (You will use the same brush for the entire bunny).

Continue by adding a bunny tail and a foot. Next, paint the ears. Follow up with a poof of glitter before the paint fully dries.

Step 2

Then, load your #2 round brush with Kryolan purple and outline the bunny as shown. Next, double load your petal brush with Paradise pink and Global white. Paint a circle shape for the center flower, then add a series of petals on each side of the center flower.

Step 3

Next, load your #2 round brush with Global dark blue and paint in the details for the center flower.  Continue by outlining each flower petal and add a couple of detail lines in each petal.

Step 4

Still using your Global dark blue, add the bunny's cute little eye. Finally, load your #2 round brush with Global white and add random sized dots on the petals.

And now you have a quick, but still cute bunny to add to your Easter board. One of the things I like about this bunny is how easily you can change up the color scheme. So if you have 30 kids at festival that all want a bunny, you can easily change up this design by just choosing different colors.

#4. Full Face Easter Bunny Design

Bunny Face Paint Design

This adorable Easter Bunny face paint design is sure to make everyone say "Awwwww!"

Step 1

Using a petal sponge loaded well with Diamond FX White, create the shape of a wide bunny muzzle. Then apply White above the eyes using the shape of the petal sponge as a guide and making sure to line up the corner of the sponge to the corner of the eyes.

Step 2

Using another petal sponge, load the rainbow cake well with the light color on the narrow, pointed edge of the sponge and the dark color on the outer, wider edge of the sponge. Fill in the cheeks with the loaded sponge, creating round chubby bunny cheeks from the edge of the eyes to the edge of the muzzle you already painted. Using only the light colors on the sponge, fill in the center of the design and area on and above the nose. Flip the sponge over to create the forehead, always making sure to point the light colors towards the center of the face and the dark colors on the outside to frame the design.

Reload your sponge when necessary to make sure the colors are always opaque and applied evenly throughout your design. Create the ears by pinching the sponge to make it more narrow and create the shape of a floppy bunny ear. You will want the dark color to create a "shadow" below the flopped ear, and the light color to be at the top of the ear shape. If they child's forehead has enough room, you could make one ear standing up and one flopping down, or even have both standing up!

Step 3

Using FAB Purple Rain and a Loew Cornell #4 Round Brush, outline the ears and create fluffy fur on the edges of the cheeks and on the bunny's forehead. Frame the eyes, muzzle, and add a heart shaped nose for that extra "awwww" factor. Divide the muzzle by painting a line from the bottom tip of the nose to the center point of the lip and then widening the line on the upper lip.

Step 4

Using a Loew Cornell Flora Brush, load it well with DFX White, wipe off the tip on a towel and double dip with FAB Berry Wine to create flowers on the cheeks and forehead.

With a Loew Cornell #4 Round Brush and DFX White, create bunny teeth by laying the side of the brush onto the lip and rolling it side by side until you get the desired width of the teeth. Use the same brush to outline the whole design, add dots and starbursts around the flowers, create whiskers and add fur in the ears. You can go back and outline the teeth with purple if you want as well.
