Today I'm going to show you how to paint a different Santa mask face paint design! As you know, I love designs you can use on the job and always try to avoid painting on the mouth area, so this is my take on a different kind of Santa.
Let's get started!
Step 1
Load a sponge with Superstar Bubblegum Pink and tap softly on the upper part of cheeks and on the nose, right between the eyes.
Step 2
Load a Prima Barton Creative Series number 8 brush with Diamond FX Whiteand paint two big flicks under the pink nose for the mustache, a beard with flicking movements of the brush, trying to finish the brush strokes with sharp points. Do the same over the eyebrows and paint the border of Santa's hat and a circle for the pompom too.
Step 3
Load an Aqualon number 8 Filbert Brush with Superstar Fire Red and paint the hat joining the white base over the eyebrows with the pompom.
Step 4
Load aPrima Barton Creative Series number 8 brush with watery Diamond FX White and paint a highlight on Santa's hat to give more dimension.
Step 5
Load a Prima Barton number 1 brush with Diamond FX Black and outline the full design, even the upper part of the pink nose and cheeks.
Step 6
Now take a clean but damp Prima Barton Creative series number 3 Roundand go over the black outlines of the nose and cheeks to soften them. Now do the same under the black lines of the mustache and beard to give some shadow to it. If the brush is too dry to drag the paint, you can dampen it again with a wet wipe and go over the black lines again to soften the hat outline.
Now use a clean and dry Aqualon number 8 Filbert Brush to drag some black in the lower part of the red hat and give it some shadow.
Step 7
Finally, load aPrima Barton Creative series number 3 Round with watery Diamond FX White and paint a highlight on Santa's cheeks and nose.
Now, as a final touch, use the tip of your finger to tap some Art Factory Chunky Glitter Flirton top of the hat and that's it!
Your Santa design is ready to rock the party!!!
