Application & Removal Tips

Face Paints Product Info	How Do I Apply Activate with just few drops of water and mix well before applying. Using too much water can result in streaks and bubbles. Too little water can cause cracking. Apply with a sponge to create solid coverage or an opaque base for your face. Mix and apply using an artist's brush to add fine line details to your designs. Patch Test For sensitive skin, Ruby Red suggests a twenty minute patch test before painting on the full face or body. Apply face paint to a one by two inch patch on the inside of the elbow. After twenty minutes, remove the paint with water only and wipe dry. Look for anything that might be of concern. How Do I Remove Easily comes off with mild soap and water without any need for scrubbing. For the best results, Ruby Red recommends using baby wipes or mild baby shampoo and wash cloth. To remove from fabric: To remove Ruby Red Face Paints from clothing, wash by hand in cold water using soap or pre-washing agent. Avoid warm or hot water when trying to remove the paint from clothing.
Face Paint Stamps Product Info	How To Apply Step 1: Mist the surface of your face paint with water or wet with sponge. Step 2: Apply the paint to the face paint stamp by rubbing the stamp on the makeup or with a brush. Step 3: Lightly touch the child's skin with the face paint stamp (do not press too hard). If you have too much face paint on the face paint stamp, touch the face paint stamp to a paper towel to reduce the amount of face paint. Step 4: Paint details onto and around the design with a face paint brush, if desired. How To Clean Rinse the face paint stamp with water or clean the surface with a baby wipe.
Brushes & Sponges Product Info	Caring For Brushes: When you are finished face painting, rinse your face painting brushes well in warm to hot water until you don't see any face paint. Dry the face painting brushes with a clean paper towel, wiping from the brush handle to the brush head then reshape the brush head with your fingers. Let the Face Painting Brushes dry completely before you pack them away. When using soap to clean your face painting brushes, use a baby shampoo or gentle soap that is safe on young eyes. When storing your face painting brushes in a kit, store the brushes with bristles up.
Glitter & Tattoos Product Info	How Do I Apply Step 1: Clean the skin with rubbing alcohol and allow it to dry completely. Any moisture, sweat, or lotion will cause the cosmetic glitter to stick on the skin. Step 2: Use a face paint brush to apply a light coat of glitter glue to the skin. Step 3: Allow the glitter glue to dry to a clear sticky surface. If you are using Ruby Red Sparklettoo glue, there is no need to wait for it to dry. Step 4: Use the glitter bottles to poof glitter onto the areas where you want it. Step 5: Tilt the design to the side to let excess glitter fall out. Sweep out any extra glitter with a cosmetic brush. Step 6: Pat and gently spread out the glitter with your hand to complete your design. How Do I Remove Use a washcloth or cotton ball. For glitter on the face, use a little makeup remover on the cotton ball to gently wipe away the polyester glitter. Glitter on the body can be removed using rubbing alcohol. Also use rubbing alcohol to clean glitter from your face painting brushes.

Perfect teardrop brush

I have this brand Aliyah brush in a few other sizes, however... this #4 brush is the one I'll use the most for line work. From the very first time I picked up this brush and used it I was amazed. It holds a lot of paint. Is a good weight and the tip goes from very small to the most perfect teardrops. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

Saw a video of this brush used for stencils so ordered 2, one for black and one for white, and when I tried them, I absolutely was impressed. It takes a very little bit of water sprayed on to the paint so it’s only barely sticky and it is the absolute perfect brush for bold precise and quick stencils. I found them way easier to get good results than the finger daubers.

Fusion Glitter Cream

I love it. I use it all the time. It works well on top of paint too. The only thing is that in the picture it looks like there's a pinkish color but it's more of a color I'd use with adults, like a Rosy color with a tink of orange.

Best Stencils

My favorite stencils yet are all Milena. I have not had any trouble with single or double stencils. I have had issues with other brands leaving Milena my brand of choice.
